  It feels like years since it’s been warm.

  Here comes the summer,

  Here come our new Board members,

  We say, "They’re all right,"

  Our June All-Club Event will be held at the internationally renowned Southern Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chão in downtown Bellevue, featuring a menu showcasing the centuries-old Southern Brazilian grilling technique of churrasco. Fogo de Chão honors the Brazilian gaucho traditions of churrasco, the art of roasting meats over an open fire, and espeto corrido, or “continuous service.”

  • Cost: $38 prepaid upon registration.
  • Deadline: Wednesday, June 3. No refunds will be issued after this date.

  Luncheon Menu:

  • Plated salad
  • Continuous tableside carving of Brazil’s finest, most popular cuts including Picanha (prime part of top sirloin), Fraldinha (bottom sirloin), Alcatra (top sirloin), Frango (Roasted Chicken), Lombo (Pork), and Linguica (Pork Sausage).  All meat is gluten free.
  • Family style traditional Brazilian sides including favorites of warm pão de queijo (cheese bread), crispy polenta, caramelized bananas and mashed potatoes
  • Chef’s choice dessert
  • Fountain beverages, coffee and tea; alcohol available to purchase
  • Note: vegan or vegetarian options can be selected during registration; if you have other special dietary needs or any questions about the event, please email events@newcomersofgreaterseattle.org.

  Parking:  

  • 3-hour parking is complimentary in both the Lincoln Square South and Bellevue Collection garages with a restaurant validation.
  • Lincoln Square South underground parking has the most direct elevator to Fago de Chão. Put Lincoln Square South Parking Garage in your GPS for best parking directions. Take the elevator up to the 1st level and the restaurant entrance is right around the corner.
  • There is a tunnel connection from Bellevue Collection located on Level P3.
  • Valet parking at Lincoln Square is available for a fee - it is a short, flat walk to the restaurant.

  Public Transit and Driving Directions:

  New Link Light Rail Line 2 option

  The restaurant is accessible from the new Link Light Rail Line 2 from the Downtown Bellevue Station with approximately a 15-minute (.5 mile) slightly uphill walk.

  Driving Directions

  • From Seattle via Hwy 520:  Take Hwy 520 east over the Evergreen Point Bridge to I-405 south. Then take Exit 13B west onto NE 8th or Exit 13A onto NE 4th and continue west for four blocks.
  • From Seattle via I-90:  Take I-90 east over Lake Washington to I-405 north. Then take Exit 13B west onto NE 8th or Exit 13A onto NE 4th and continue west for four blocks.
  • From I-405 north:  Take Exit 13B west onto NE 8th or Exit 13A onto NE 4th and continue west for four blocks.
  • From I-405 south:  Take Exit 13B west onto NE 8th or Exit 13A onto NE 4th and continue west for four blocks.
  • From points east:  Take I-90 west to Exit 10 onto I-405 north, then take Exit 13B west onto NE 8th or Exit 13A onto NE 4th and continue west for four blocks.

  If You Need to Cancel Your Registration:

  Please do cancel your registration online ASAP (and before June 3 for a refund.) This will give the Events Team an accurate count.

  • Go to the event listed in the online Calendar.
  • Click on Already Registered on the left side of the screen.
  • Click the Cancel Registration link.
    (Ignore the line at the top: "Registration confirmed. To change, contact administrator.)
  • Click Cancel Registration to confirm.
